Pool Corp. Appoints Former Constellium CEO Jean-Marc Germain to Board

Pool Corporation (Nasdaq: POOL) announced the appointment of Jean-Marc Germain to its Board of Directors, effective September 30, 2026, following a recommendation from the company's Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee.

Germain will serve until the 2027 annual meeting of shareholders, at which time he will stand for election. The appointment increases the board to nine directors.

Germain served as chief executive officer of Constellium SE, a global leader in aluminum products and solutions, from 2016 to 2025 and currently remains with the company as Special Advisor to its board of directors. Prior to Constellium, he was president and CEO of Algeco Scotsman Global from 2012 to 2016 and held leadership roles at Novelis Inc., Alcan Inc., Pechiney, GE Capital and Bain & Co. Since 2021, he has served as an independent director of GrafTech International Ltd, a New York Stock Exchange-listed manufacturer of graphite electrode products. He holds a Master of Science from École Polytechnique in Paris.

John E. Stokely, executive chair of the board, praised Germain's "extensive leadership, operational and governance experience from leading global industrial businesses" and his proven ability to drive performance and create shareholder value.

Pool Corporation is the world's largest wholesale distributor of swimming pool and backyard products, operating numerous sales centers globally.

In recent institutional activity, data shows 342 institutional investors added shares in the most recent quarter while 421 decreased positions. Notable moves include Berkshire Hathaway Inc. removing its entire 3,068,885-share stake in Q1 2026, valued at approximately $620.9 million, and BlackRock Inc. adding 1,738,085 shares (+75.8%) in Q2, valued at roughly $373.5 million. AQR Capital Management LLC also added 1,222,534 shares (+687.1%), estimated at $262.7 million, while Invesco Ltd. sold 726,297 shares (-68.8%), or about $156.1 million. T. Rowe Price added 697,447 shares (+54.0%), valued at $149.9 million, and American Century Companies increased its stake by 479,859 shares (+2,347.5%).

Pool reported second-quarter 2026 revenue of $1.8 billion, up 2.15% from the prior-year period.

Three analysts covering POOL in the past six months set a median price target of $226. Stifel's W. Andrew Carter issued a $235 target in July 2026, Bank of America Securities' Shaun Calnan set $226 in April, and Wells Fargo's Sam Reid placed a $215 target earlier that same month.
