Shares of ANTA Sports Products Ltd surged 7.1% to HK$77 on Wednesday after the sportswear company reported record first-half results and raised its interim dividend.
The Hong Kong-listed firm posted a 34.9% year-over-year increase in profit attributable to shareholders, reaching RMB 9.487 billion for the six months ended June 30. Revenue rose 12.9% to a record RMB 43.51 billion, driven by growth across its portfolio brands, including ANTA, FILA, DESCENTE, and KOLON SPORT.
The company raised its interim dividend by 10.22% to HKD 1.51 per share, with payment scheduled for September 22. Operational efficiency improved, with gross margin expanding to 63.9% and operating profit margin rising to 27%, the highest level in seven years. Free cash flow exceeded RMB 11.63 billion, while net cash reached RMB 39.1 billion.
Inventory turnover accelerated, reducing days of inventory by six compared to the prior year. The broader Hong Kong market advanced up to 1.1% during the session.
