Stellantis appointed Stephanie Hartgrove as its new Chief Communications Officer, effective September 1, as part of a leadership reshuffle announced on Monday. Hartgrove will report directly to CEO Antonio Filosa and join the automaker’s executive leadership team.
The appointment coincides with Clara Ingen-Housz’s transition to a newly created role as Head of Public Policy, Regulatory Strategy, and International Trade, also reporting to Filosa. Ingen-Housz had led Stellantis’ Corporate Affairs and Corporate Communication sectors for the past 19 months.
In a statement, Filosa said the moves support the company’s FaSTLAne 2030 strategy, which outlines Stellantis’ long-term operational and financial targets through the end of the decade. He welcomed Hartgrove to the team and acknowledged Ingen-Housz’s contributions during her tenure in communications.
Hartgrove brings over two decades of global communication experience to the role. Prior to Stellantis, she served as global vice president of communications and public affairs for Johnson & Johnson’s MedTech division. Earlier in her career, she held senior communication positions at Baker Hughes and GE, and began as a journalist at CNN and Al Jazeera.
Stellantis, which operates brands including Jeep, Ram, Dodge, Chrysler, Peugeot, Citroën, Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Maserati, and Opel, is listed on the New York Stock Exchange under ticker STLA, Euronext Milan under STLAM, and Euronext Paris under STLAP.
