Aktie de Logitech : Les pertes de cours persistent, malgré les résultats trimestriels positifs

Logitech's Aktie only showed a slight recovery of 0.2% on Friday morning after a sharp drop of 6.11% on the preceding day. The stock reached 82.62 francs for the trading session. Part of the losses can be attributed to the dividend shortfall, which cost around 1.36 francs in the last two days. However, the negative effects were dominated by higher interest rates worldwide, particularly in the tech sector, as well as the stock's weak response to positive developments over the past three weeks. The trading volume was lacking to support the stock. Despite these challenges, Logitech still has potential: the average price target stands at 94 francs, representing an upside potential of 23%. Four analysts recommend the stock for a buy, five hold it appropriate, while one person tends to a sell recommendation. The expected annual earnings growth of 10.9% is positive, and the average profit margin of 14.7% exceeds the industry standard of 12.0%. The price-to-earnings ratio (P/E) is 17.0, which is below the long-term average of 18.0. The last update of analyst estimates was on August 12, when bank Julius Bär raised its price target slightly to 90 francs, while maintaining the "Hold" rating. Logitech significantly surpassed expectations in the first quarter of fiscal 2026/27: revenue rose 7% to US$1.23 billion, with constant currency values showing a 5% increase. The gross profit margin (EBIT) was 49.8%, up 770 basis points from the prior-year level, and operating income rose 44% to US$290.4 million. Despite these successes, supply chain challenges weigh on the outlook. An incident at a semiconductor supplier led to a temporary shutdown of the factory, which could reduce revenue by $20 million in the second quarter and up to $200 million in the third quarter. However, Logitech expects the issue to be resolved by the fourth quarter. CEO Hanneke Faber emphasized the high acceptance of new products and the fair valuation of the stock. However, the supply chain remains tense, but the current inventory is expected to mitigate the impact. The challenges could worsen further in the coming days, especially if additional supply disruptions occur or a major investment bank offers the stock for sale.
