Strattec Security Corp. said on Tuesday its shares rose 2.5% in after-hours trading following a fourth-quarter earnings and revenue beat. The Milwaukee-based automotive security systems manufacturer reported adjusted earnings per share of $2.06 for the quarter ended June 28, exceeding the $1.12 analyst consensus by $0.94.
Revenue for the period reached $151.8 million, surpassing the $147.0 million estimate and matching the $152.0 million recorded in the prior-year quarter. Net income attributable to Strattec totaled $3.9 million, or $0.95 per diluted share, down from $8.3 million, or $2.01 per share, in the same period of fiscal 2025. Adjusted EBITDA was $12.5 million, or 8.3% of net sales, compared with $13.0 million, or 8.5% of sales, a year earlier.
For the full fiscal year 2026, Strattec posted sales of $579.4 million, a 2.5% increase from $565.1 million in fiscal 2025. Gross margin expanded to 16.5% from 15.0% in the prior year. The company ended the quarter with $108.2 million in cash and no debt.
Strattec also repurchased 110,269 shares in the fourth quarter for $7.4 million at an average price of $67.10. Additionally, the board authorized a new $40 million share buyback program.
Chief Executive Jennifer Slater said the company continued to reshape its business through operational improvements despite headwinds from foreign exchange and tariffs. "Fiscal 2026 was a year of progress and discipline as we continued to reshape Strattec into a more resilient, higher-performing business," she said.
