Brightline Interactive Inc. (NASDAQ: BTLN) will serve as a subcontractor to Computer Systems Center Incorporated (CSCI) in a U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) initiative to test advanced air mobility systems in Louisiana.
Under a teaming agreement announced on Wednesday, Brightline will integrate its SpatialCore platform into LIFTOff Louisiana, a test site designated by the FAA’s eVTOL Integration Pilot Program. The platform is designed to ingest and synthesize operational data from uncrewed aircraft systems, eVTOL aircraft, radar, and sensors, creating a unified operational picture of airspace activity.
This deployment represents the first civilian application of SpatialCore outside the defense sector. The platform was developed over four years in collaboration with the U.S. Navy and leverages open data standards adopted by NVIDIA and Apple to ensure interoperability across AI systems, sensors, and digital twins.
CSCI, a woman-owned small business based in Springfield, Virginia, will lead the project. The company specializes in cybersecurity, systems engineering, and risk management and has served as a government contractor for more than 39 years. Tyler Gates, President and CEO of Brightline, emphasized the need for coordinated airspace management as diverse aircraft types share the same operational environment.
The FAA’s eVTOL Integration Pilot Program aims to accelerate the safe deployment of Advanced Air Mobility vehicles within the National Airspace System, with Louisiana designated as one of several test sites nationwide.
