1875 Finance, an independent wealth manager, has announced the appointment of Peter Raskin as Director for its Zurich office. Raskin, who previously served as CEO of Berenberg Schweiz and Bergos, will focus on expanding the private banking business in Zurich.
Raskin brings over 20 years of experience in private banking and wealth management. He is well-known in the Zurich financial sector, having joined the BHF-Bank (Switzerland) in 2000 as head of the legal department and later moving into the executive leadership. In 2009, he took over the leadership of Berenberg Bank (Schweiz), and later assumed global responsibility for the international private banking of the Berenberg Group, including London, Germany, and Luxembourg. In 2018, Raskin led Berenberg Bank (Schweiz) to independence, forming Bergos AG, of which he is also an shareholder.
Raskin's move to 1875 Finance is a strategic decision, allowing him to focus on what he values most: clients and colleagues.
