Swiss asset manager Stableton hits $1 billion AUM, focuses on private‑tech unicorns

Stableton Financial, founded in 2018 and headquartered in Zurich, announced that its assets under management (AUM) exceeded $1 billion in August. The firm took seven years to accumulate the first $500 million and required only ten months to add the second half, according to a Monday press release.

The manager positions itself as a private‑equity investor in "private blue‑chip tech companies" and offers systematic, passive exposure to the world’s most valuable unicorns—startups valued at over $1 billion. Its flagship product, launched in 2023, is the Stableton Morningstar PitchBook Unicorn 20 fund, which will be marketed in the United States through a Luxembourg‑based vehicle.

Stableton notes that the technology sector now creates most of its value while companies remain privately held. It cites that a typical tech firm went public after twelve years in 2025, compared with four years in 1999. To date, the firm has completed more than 185 transactions.

Co‑founder and CEO Andreas Bezner said the firm was the first to bring a systematic, semi‑liquid portfolio of private‑tech investments to market, and that reaching the $1 billion milestone demonstrates early investor confidence and the maturation of the asset class. Co‑founder and CFO Konstantin Heiermann added that the market’s historic concerns—high fees, opaque pricing, limited liquidity and complexity—have been addressed, as reflected in the firm’s growth.
