TTM Technologies Reports 51.7% Revenue Growth, Shifts Focus to AI and Defense

TTM Technologies (TTMI) highlighted its robust financial performance and strategic expansion at the Jefferies Global Industrials Conference in September 2026, reporting a 51.7% year-over-year revenue increase to $4.4 billion, up from $2.9 billion in the prior year. Over the trailing twelve months, revenue growth reached nearly 28%, underscoring sustained momentum across its core sectors. Operating margins stood at 16.5% in the latest quarter, with full-year guidance set at 18%, reflecting operational efficiency amid rising demand.

The company’s revenue distribution remains heavily weighted toward high-growth themes: 50% from AI and data center technologies, 40% from aerospace and defense (A&D), and 10% across medical, instrumentation, industrial, and automotive markets. Over the next five to seven years, A&D’s share is expected to decline as data center demand accelerates. Total employment stands at approximately 20,000, with 16 North American facilities dedicated to defense, including a recently completed ultra-high-density interconnect (UHDI) manufacturing plant in Syracuse, New York, completed in just 23 months next to an acquired facility.

A&D remains a cornerstone of TTM’s growth, with annual revenue exceeding $1.5 billion and a $1.7 billion backlog, including multi-year contracts in air and missile defense, munitions acceleration, and programs like the Golden Dome initiative. The book-to-bill ratio for Q2 was 1.3x, a strong indicator of pipeline health. The company’s commercial data center segment, meanwhile, generated $200 million in Q2, with further gains expected to reach $400 million in the next quarter, supported by 10 to 15 primary hyperscaler customers and an additional 50 tail customers.

TTM’s valuation reflects its expansion trajectory: its market capitalization sits at $13.06 billion, with a P/E ratio of 56.46 and a PEG ratio of 0.39. Over the past year, the stock has surged 172%, though it has recently dipped 3.98% from its previous close. Wall Street price targets range from $205 to $224, signaling optimism about its long-term potential.

Executives emphasize TTM’s evolving role as a nervous system for semiconductor integration, complementing Moore’s Law limitations by combining chips with low-latency, high-bandwidth solutions—reaching up to 150 metal layers in advanced PCB technology. The company’s recent acquisitions, including Epiq Solutions (2022), Telephonics (2022), and Anaren (2018), have strengthened its RF spectrum and open-architecture capabilities, aligning with defense and commercial demand.

Edwin Roks, President and CEO, framed TTM’s strategy as a transition from traditional PCB manufacturing toward communication and sensing solutions, prioritizing customer engagement through demonstrations over PowerPoint presentations. Cathy Gridley, Executive Vice President of A&D, highlighted the multi-year nature of defense contracts as a key driver of stability, while Roks underscored the company’s ability to innovate beyond Moore’s Law by integrating advanced chip systems efficiently.

With a market cap of $13.06 billion and a $124.2 share price, TTM remains well-positioned to capitalize on the convergence of AI, defense, and data infrastructure, despite recent volatility in its stock performance.
