Sembcorp Green Infra, the renewable energy arm of Singapore-listed Sembcorp Industries, has filed for an initial public offering in India valued at up to 37.5 billion rupees ($393.04 million). The offering, announced on August 26, 2026, will consist entirely of new shares and aims to refinance approximately 30 billion rupees of existing debt.
The filing marks the second attempt by the company to list its Indian energy business. The first effort, under the name Sembcorp Energy India, was initiated in 2018 but withdrawn a year later after additional capital was injected into the unit. This time, Sembcorp Industries will retain full ownership, with Temasek remaining the ultimate beneficial shareholder.
Book-running services for the IPO will be provided by Axis Capital, Citigroup, CLSA, HSBC, ICICI Securities, IIFL Capital Services, and Kotak Mahindra Capital. The offering will be conducted in Mumbai, reflecting the company’s strategic focus on India’s expanding renewable energy sector.
