Savara Inc. (NASDAQ: SVRA) will present data from its Phase 3 IMPALA-2 clinical trial at the European Respiratory Society (ERS) Congress in Barcelona, Spain, scheduled for September 5–9, 2026.
The company plans to deliver one oral presentation and two poster presentations on molgramostim, a recombinant human granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor administered via the company’s proprietary eFlow Nebulizer System. The oral presentation will focus on long-term efficacy and safety outcomes from the trial’s open-label extension period.
The two poster presentations will detail improvements in exercise capacity and biomarker levels among patients with autoimmune pulmonary alveolar proteinosis, a rare lung disorder marked by surfactant accumulation in the alveoli and lacking approved pharmacologic treatments. An industry evening mini-symposium on September 6, titled Autoimmune Pulmonary Alveolar Proteinosis: From Disease Mechanisms to Clinical Management, will also be held.
Bruce C. Trapnell, Professor of Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and Lead Clinical Investigator of the IMPALA-2 trial, stated that the data indicate molgramostim continues to enhance lung function, exercise capacity, and quality of life in patients, with biomarker reductions suggesting potential normalization of the underlying disease pathobiology.
Savara’s stock was trading at $5.56 on the day of the announcement, down $0.03, or 0.54%.
