Donaldson Company’s shares rose 0.5% in pre-market trading on Wednesday, following the industrial filtration specialist’s fourth-quarter fiscal 2026 earnings release and a price target upgrade from Baird.
The stock, which closed at $93.25 on Tuesday, gained ahead of the company’s earnings call scheduled for 9:00 a.m. CT. Wall Street analysts projected earnings of $1.13 per share on revenue of approximately $1.04 billion, representing a 9.7% year-over-year increase in earnings per share. In the prior quarter, Donaldson reported $1.06 per share on $995.1 million in revenue, and the company had previously exceeded expectations in the third quarter of fiscal 2026.
Baird raised its price target on Donaldson to $105 from $95 on August 19, maintaining an Outperform rating. The upgrade reflects expectations for continued growth in the company’s aerospace and defense segments, supported by the acquisition of Filtration Group’s Facet Filtration business.
Donaldson operates through three core segments: Mobile Solutions, Industrial Solutions, and Life Sciences. The Facet Filtration acquisition has expanded its exposure to the defense sector, a key driver of recent performance expectations.
