Dorman Trading, a futures commission merchant owned by Miami International Holdings Inc., has been granted membership with the Options Clearing Corporation (OCC), the company said.
MIAX, listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker MIAX, increased the net capital of Dorman Trading by $40 million. The subsidiary's adjusted net capital stands at approximately $68 million as of August 31, 2026, following the capital infusion.
Thomas P. Gallagher, chairman and chief executive officer of MIAX, said the OCC membership enables Dorman Trading to deliver cost and operational efficiencies to clients trading Bloomberg equity index futures on MIAX Futures.
"Through its OCC membership, the FCM is able to provide its clients with significant cost and operational efficiencies when trading our recently-launched Bloomberg equity index futures on MIAX Futures," Gallagher said. He added that the additional capital positions Dorman Trading to accelerate its growth strategy and support an expanded client base.
Dorman Trading is registered with the National Futures Association as a futures commission merchant and as a notice registered broker-dealer. It operates alongside MIAX Futures, which launched trading in Bloomberg equity index futures on May 17, 2026, including Tini B100 Index Futures, Tini B500 Index Futures, and B500 Index Futures.
Miami International Holdings operates eight exchanges spanning options, futures, equities, and international markets. The firm is headquartered in New York and trades on the NYSE under the symbol MIAX.
