Comstock Engages Newmark for Nevada Land Development

Comstock Inc. (NYSE: LODE) has engaged Newmark (NASDAQ: NMRK) to advise on the administration of a significant land portfolio in Silver Springs, Nevada, as part of its broader strategy to expand energy infrastructure and advanced manufacturing capabilities. The 2,200-acre parcel, owned by Sierra Springs Enterprises Inc., includes a leased manufacturing facility, the Silver Springs Regional Airport, and water and sewer rights, among other infrastructure assets. Comstock holds a 47.63% stake in Sierra Springs Opportunity Fund Inc., a qualified opportunity zone fund managing the land assets. The partnership aims to consolidate opportunities for renewable energy, datacenters, and advanced manufacturing in Northern Nevada, according to Corrado De Gasperis, CEO and President of Sierra Springs Opportunity Fund Inc. Newmark’s engagement, led by Steve Golubchik, Executive Vice Chairman and President of its Western Region Capital Markets, will oversee a request-for-proposal process. Comstock’s business model centers on recycling end-of-life photovoltaics into reusable metals and producing renewable fuels and chemicals from biomass. While the development timeline remains under review, updates are expected in the fourth quarter of 2026. Newmark, with over $3.6 billion in annual revenue and more than 10,000 professionals globally, will provide strategic guidance on leveraging the land for long-term industrial and infrastructure projects.
