LPL Financial Holdings Inc. announced Monday the appointment of Jonathan Lewis as executive director, chief technology officer and chief information officer, effective immediately.
Lewis, based in New York, will lead technology areas including architecture, engineering, infrastructure and development. He reports to Greg Gates, group executive director and chief product and technology officer.
Lewis brings more than 20 years of technology leadership experience in financial services, most recently serving as head of digital and trading technology for wealth management at Wells Fargo. Prior to Wells Fargo, he held the role of head of asset management technology at J.P. Morgan.
LPL Financial serves more than 32,000 financial advisors and approximately 1,100 financial institutions, managing and custodying approximately $2.6 trillion in brokerage and advisory assets for roughly 8 million American clients.
