anyBOUND, a provider of crypto-native incentive solutions, and JTB Group, Japan's largest travel services company, announced a joint initiative on August 27 to offer travel reward and VIP retreat services for cryptocurrency projects.
The partnership integrates anyBOUND's blockchain-based incentive programs with JTB's global travel infrastructure, which spans 354 domestic locations in Japan and 152 overseas offices across 81 cities in 36 countries. Services are designed for crypto exchanges, wallets, payment applications, and token projects seeking to enhance user engagement through premium travel experiences.
Programs include fully arranged Japan travel packages with accommodations, transportation, and curated local experiences. Premium options feature stays in historic Japanese castles, access to reservation-only restaurants, and project-exclusive itineraries. The offering also supports logistics for meetups, community events, and on-site operations for retreats accommodating groups of 100 or more participants.
Yohei Shiobara, anyBOUND's founder and CEO, stated the initiative addresses limitations of financial incentives alone in building community relationships. "Financial incentives alone weren't building the relationships these projects wanted with their communities," Shiobara said. "Through our work with JTB, anyBOUND is focused on turning on-chain activity into experiences people actually remember and talk about."
Payment methods include crypto assets, stablecoins, and traditional card payments. The OMAKASE TRAVEL BOX, anyBOUND's signature curated Japan experience package, is available as a premium reward option. JTB Group handled 5,100 MICE projects in fiscal year 2025 and maintains relationships with over 35,000 corporate clients.
