Home Depot Inc. on Tuesday launched Express Delivery, a nationwide service promising product delivery within three hours or less at a flat fee with no subscription requirement.
The offering uses more than 2,200 U.S. stores as fulfillment hubs, enabling delivery of plumbing, electrical, hardware, paint, tools and project supplies directly to customer doorsteps or job sites. Eligibility is indicated on product pages and during checkout.
Jordan Broggi, executive vice president of Interconnected Retail, said the service responds to customer demand for immediate access to essential products. "Customers expect products to be available when and where they need them, and Express Delivery helps us meet that expectation with a fast, reliable solution," Broggi stated.
The company also highlighted existing delivery capabilities, noting free same-day delivery on orders of $25 or more placed by 4 p.m. Its delivery center network delivers over 65% of in-stock parcel products on the same or next day, while roughly 55% of in-stock big and bulky orders reach customers within two days. Next-day major appliance delivery is available to 60% of the U.S. population on select products.
Home Depot operates 2,364 retail stores and more than 1,340 supply chain and service locations across all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, 10 Canadian provinces and Mexico. The company employs over 470,000 associates and is listed on the New York Stock Exchange under ticker NYSE:HD, a component of the Dow Jones Industrial Average and the S&P 500 index.
