Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management has created a new role for Zineb Bennani, who assumes leadership of strategic development for its private-assets platform effective September 8.
Bennani will drive the expansion and transformation of the group's non-listed-investments division, covering private equity, infrastructure debt and real estate, according to the bank. She will also coordinate the introduction of new investment strategies and set platform priorities alongside investment, sales, marketing and product teams.
In addition, Bennani takes over responsibility for the investor-relations team that serves the group's private banks. Based in Paris, she reports to Anne Laurence Roucher, group head of private assets.
Bennani brings more than two decades of experience in wealth management, sustainable finance, business development and investor relations. Most recently she served as CEO of Mirova US, where she was responsible for building the North American platform. Prior to that, she held the position of global chief operating and business-development officer and sat on Mirova's executive committee. She spent more than 14 years at Mirova and previously held roles at Natixis for over six years.
The appointment is part of Edmond de Rothschild's effort to strengthen coordination of its private-assets activities and broaden its offering for clients and partners.
