Shares of CEVA Inc. fell 45% over three months after InvestingPro’s fair-value model signaled the stock was trading nearly 40% above its intrinsic value in early June.
The semiconductor intellectual property company’s shares surged 63% in April on AI-driven semiconductor enthusiasm, but InvestingPro’s valuation models on June 2, 2026, placed CEVA’s fair value at $30.16, compared with a trading price of $49.61. The stock subsequently declined 31% in July and continued falling to $27.12 by the end of August, a drop of 45.3% from the June signal.
CEVA reported Q2 2026 revenue of $115.7 million, beating estimates, and narrowed losses despite an EBITDA deficit of $7.8 million and a negative EPS of $0.47 at the time of the fair-value alert. However, shares fell 10% following the earnings release.
Analysts at TD Cowen and Needham reduced price targets on the stock even after acknowledging CEVA’s role in wireless connectivity and smart sensing technologies for AI applications. The downgrades reflected valuation concerns rather than fundamental deterioration.
