Cango Inc.’s AI computing unit, EcoHash Technology, has begun offering commercial GPU compute services at a 50-megawatt facility in Georgia. The newly retrofitted AI compute section supports up to 3 megawatts of capacity, utilizing high-density compute containers and an initial batch of GPU servers.
The Georgia site, which previously hosted Bitcoin mining operations, now includes a dedicated infrastructure for AI workloads. EcoHash has started serving customers including GPU cloud platforms and AI-native cloud providers, with additional deployments planned as demand grows.
Cango’s Chief Financial Officer, Simon Tang, said the activation of the first GPU servers and the launch of commercial services represent a significant milestone for EcoHash. The company leveraged existing infrastructure and energy access at the Georgia facility to deploy a plug-and-play container solution for AI compute workloads.
EcoHash, founded in 2025, is targeting commercial and research clients such as decentralized compute networks and AI research laboratories. The unit operates within Cango’s broader digital asset and technology services framework, which includes the company’s international used car export business, AutoCango.com.
