Adobe said on Monday it will expand its partnership with Saudi Arabia, committing $4 billion in free access to its AI-powered tools for more than 27 million eligible residents and citizens.
The rollout of complimentary Adobe Firefly Standard subscriptions and Adobe Express Premium features is scheduled to begin by the end of 2026, the company said. The initiative builds on a partnership initially announced in November between Adobe and Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.
As part of the expanded agreement, Adobe and Humain—a government-backed AI firm in Saudi Arabia—jointly developed a new image generation model designed to align with local cultural norms. The model enables users to create culturally appropriate images using Arabic-language prompts.
Eligible recipients will receive one year of free access under the plan, which Adobe valued at $4 billion based on the scope of the offering.
