FP Markets obtains UAE CMA Category 5 licence

Limassol, Cyprus, Sept 9 2026 – FP Markets, a global multi‑asset forex and CFD broker founded in Sydney in 2005, announced that its regional unit FP Markets MENA Securities L.L.C. S.O.C. has been granted a Category 5 licence by the United Arab Emirates Capital Market Authority (CMA). The licence authorises the firm to conduct marketing, promotional and client‑introduction activities in Dubai and throughout the UAE.

The regulator, formerly the Securities and Commodities Authority, issued the licence as part of FP Markets’ broader strategy to expand its multi‑jurisdictional presence. The broker already holds licences from the Australian Securities and Investments Commission, the Seychelles Financial Services Authority, South Africa’s Financial Sector Conduct Authority and Kenya’s Capital Markets Authority.

FP Markets offers more than 10,000 CFD instruments across seven asset classes and provides trading through MetaTrader 4/5, TradingView and cTrader platforms. The company’s Chief Marketing Officer, John Lewis, said the new licence adds security, transparency and service quality for clients and partners.

The firm’s website is www.fpmarkets.com.
