ZenaTech Plans Drone Power-Washing Franchise Network

ZenaTech Inc. is developing a franchise business model to commercialize drone-powered exterior cleaning services under its Drone as a Service platform, CEO Shaun Passley said Sept. 8.

The move follows ZenaTech's acquisition of Green Earth Powerwashing LLC on June 23. Green Earth operates a registered franchise system and has existing franchisees serving municipal, commercial, and hospitality customers across central and south Florida.

"We've long been interested in a franchise strategy for our Drone as a Service platform that can incorporate multiple service lines over time, and this recent acquisition of Green Earth gives us an accelerated path to bring our first drone-enabled service, power washing, to market incorporating this model," Passley said. "Through this acquisition we have a franchise infrastructure, trained operators, and customer relationships in place that can help accelerate our plan."

ZenaTech plans to use the ZenaDrone IQ Square, initially developed for outdoor inspection and maintenance, fitted with a pressurized cleaning attachment and water system to wash building exteriors, facades, roofs, and hard-to-reach surfaces from the air, supervised by ground-based technicians. The capability to mount a pressurized cleaning attachment and water system on a drone remains in the testing stage and is not yet in commercial deployment, according to the company.

The DaaS platform offers subscription-based access to surveying, inspection, maintenance, power washing, inventory management, and precision agriculture services without the costs or operational burdens of drone ownership.

Passley said ZenaTech is now building the strategy and operations manual needed to layer drone technology onto Green Earth's franchise foundation, with initial rollout planned across Florida before expanding to other U.S. markets.

The global drone cleaning services market was valued at over $5 billion in 2024 and is projected to exceed $15 billion by 2031, growing at nearly 17% annually, according to Valuates Reports.

ZenaDrone operates manufacturing facilities in Arizona, Dubai, and Taiwan. The company also produces the ZenaDrone 1000, IQ Nano, IQ Quad, IQ Aqua, and IQ Octo models.

ZenaTech trades on Nasdaq, the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, and the Mexican Stock Exchange.
