Vinci Partners posts R$3.78 EPS beat, revenue above forecasts

Vinci Partners Investments (BOV: VINC3) reported second-quarter earnings per share of R$3.78, surpassing the R$3.07 consensus estimate by 23%. Revenue totaled R$1.24 billion, exceeding the R$1.18 billion forecast, according to data compiled by Refinitiv.

The Brazilian asset manager, which operates across private equity, real estate and infrastructure, attributed the outperformance to strong performance fees and higher assets under management. Total assets under management rose 8% quarter-on-quarter to R$110.5 billion as of June 30.

Net income attributable to shareholders increased 19% year-over-year to R$371 million. Operating margin expanded to 34.1%, up from 31.2% in the same period last year, driven by cost discipline and higher fee income.

Vinci Partners has raised R$2.3 billion in new capital commitments year-to-date, including R$1.1 billion in infrastructure funds. The company maintained its full-year guidance for revenue growth of 10-12% and net income growth of 15-18%.

Shares of Vinci Partners, listed on B3 under ticker VINC3, were up 2.1% in pre-market trading following the results. The stock has gained 12% year-to-date, underperforming the Bovespa index’s 18% gain over the same period.

Analysts at XP Investimentos reiterated their buy rating on the stock, citing the company’s diversified revenue streams and strong capital-raising activity as key positives.
