NeuroPace Q2 earnings beat estimates by $0.03 per share

NeuroPace Inc. reported second-quarter earnings that surpassed Wall Street estimates on Tuesday, with adjusted profit per share exceeding expectations by $0.03.

The company, which develops neurostimulation devices for epilepsy treatment, posted adjusted earnings of $0.22 per share, beating the consensus forecast of $0.19 per share compiled by Refinitiv. Revenue for the quarter totaled $38.7 million, topping the $37.5 million estimate.

NeuroPace attributed the upside to sustained demand for its responsive neurostimulation system, a FDA-approved implantable device designed to detect and suppress abnormal brain activity. The company said procedural volumes and system placements remained robust during the period, supporting both revenue growth and profitability.

Management reaffirmed its full-year guidance, projecting revenue in the range of $155 million to $160 million and adjusted earnings between $0.85 and $0.95 per share. Analysts had previously forecast revenue of $157.2 million and adjusted earnings of $0.88 per share for the full year.

Shares of NeuroPace were up 3% in after-hours trading following the results, reflecting investor approval of the better-than-expected performance.
