AI-Picked Chip Stocks Log 196% Gain Since Launch, Outpacing S&P 500

A set of artificial-intelligence-selected semiconductor and technology stocks has logged cumulative gains of roughly 196% since the model's launch in November 2023, significantly outperforming the S&P 500 over the same period, according to a report published Thursday.

The flagship tech-titans strategy has returned 5.52% month to date, compared with 0.55% for the S&P 500, with 13 of its 15 current picks trading higher just over a week into the month — an 87% hit rate spanning cloud, storage, and chip-infrastructure positions. Over the full lifespan of the model, total returns stand at +195.56%, representing roughly +115.40% of outperformance against the benchmark.

Recent daily moves have been sharp across several named holdings. AMD rose 5.9% on the session and 10.04% for September; Hewlett Packard Enterprise added 7.8% and is up 10.14% month so far. Intel surged another 9.1% in a single day and has climbed 17.42% in September. Oracle gained 15% and Arm rose 11.37% in the same period, while KLA Corp advanced 10.59%; KLA also raised its Advanced Packaging inspection-revenue target to $1.1 billion, reflecting about 70% year-over-year growth.

Longer-hold selections have posted even steeper gains since first recommended. Delek US Energy is up 101.75%, Everforth 76.08%, Consensus Cloud Solutions 70.08%, Nucor 61.04% and HF Sinclair 53.91%. Past winners cited include Super Micro Computer at +185% and AppLovin at +157%.

Intel has been among the most dramatic performers, returning approximately 487% over the trailing year. The company reported first-quarter revenue of $13.6 billion, up 7% year over year, with AI-driven revenue growing 40% annually. Intel is preparing to raise CPU prices by roughly 10%, while also counting a $5 billion investment from Nvidia and nearly $8 billion in U.S. government funding toward its expansion. Northland Securities upgraded Intel to Outperform with a $120 price target, citing the company's foundry exposure to Elon Musk's proposed Terafab project, alongside manufacturing deals with Apple.

Other catalysts shaping the picks include a multi-year infrastructure agreement between Oracle and HPE to build out network and server capacity for Oracle's AI data centers, and Arm's launch of its Neoverse CSS N4 platform. AMD management raised its 2030 AI-market TAM projection to $3 trillion and pointed to strong demand for next-generation server CPUs and Helios AI systems. More than 1 million wafers have now been processed on ASML's High-NA EUV equipment, underscoring capacity utilization across the supply chain.

Access to the AI-powered models behind the picks is offered to subscribers for less than $9 a month.
