On Sept. 8, 2026, Wearable Devices Ltd. said it will present its neural sensing technology for humanoid robotics at the Physical AI 2026 conference in Tel Aviv. The company, listed on the Nasdaq Capital Market under the symbols WLDS and WLDSW, will take part in the event at the David InterContinental, with the National AI Directorate in the Prime Minister's Office identified as a collaborator.
The demonstration centers on a system designed to supplement vision-based training data for humanoid robots by using neuromuscular signals tied to human movement and intent. It uses multi-channel surface electromyography arrays to capture motor unit action potentials before movement becomes visible. Combined with inertial measurement unit and photoplethysmography sensors, the system translates signals into hand-pose tracking, applied force, moment of touch and intent labels.
Wearable Devices described the approach as a neural input layer for physical AI systems, targeting challenges in training humanoid hands for fine-grained manipulation tasks. The company's products include the Mudra Band, Mudra Link and Mudra Pro, and it operates through direct-to-consumer sales and enterprise licensing channels.
