Glencore sets exchange rates for September dividend distribution

Glencore plc announced that its combined dividend of $0.17 per ordinary share will be paid on Wednesday, September 18. The payment consists of two equal tranches of $0.085 per share – the second tranche approved by shareholders on May 28, 2026, for the year ended Dec. 31, 2025, and a special cash distribution declared by the board on Aug. 5, 2026. Both amounts will be drawn from the company’s capital contribution reserves.

Shareholders on the Jersey register who opted for non‑USD currency by Sep. 1 will receive the dividend in British pence, euros or Swiss francs. The rates translate to approximately 12.55 pence per share (USD/GBP 0.738253), 0.146155 euros per share (USD/EUR 0.859734) and 0.137522 Swiss francs per share (USD/CHF 0.808950). The exchange rates were derived from the London Stock Exchange Group WM/Reuters 4:00 p.m. London closing spot rate on the preceding Sunday.

For shareholders on the Johannesburg register, the South African rand amount was calculated on Aug. 18, 2026. Glencore noted that the 2026 distributions may qualify as US qualified dividends, subject to the applicable holding‑period rules for foreign corporations.
