WISeKey International Holding Ltd disclosed that its subsidiaries SEALSQ Corp and WISeSat.Space presented the Quantum Spatial Orbital Cloud (QSOC) program at the International Space Summit in Paris on Tuesday and Wednesday, September 9, 2026.
The QSOC initiative combines SEALSQ's post‑quantum semiconductor, public‑key‑infrastructure and quantum random‑number‑generation technologies with WISeSat's satellite constellation, ground segment and mission‑control capabilities. The plan calls for the deployment of up to 100 satellites through 2033, delivering post‑quantum‑secured communications, quantum‑generated random numbers, identity services and sovereign key‑provisioning from orbit.
SEALSQ will operate the security and cloud‑services layer, commercialising subscription‑based quantum‑security services without bearing the full capital cost of the satellite fleet. WISeSat will supply the space infrastructure, including the satellites, ground stations and orbital operations.
Target customers include governments, defence organisations, financial institutions and enterprise users seeking protection against future quantum‑computing threats to current cryptographic systems. The rollout of the constellation is contingent on technical validation, regulatory authorisations, launch availability, financing and corporate approvals. The initiative builds on a March 2026 announcement of the Quantum Spatial Orbital Cloud concept and marks the first public briefing of the detailed deployment roadmap.
