Shares of Vishay Intertechnology climbed 3.9% to $31.85 during mid-day trading on Thursday, extending gains from earlier in the session when the stock reached an intraday high of $31.90. The advance follows the release of a new product line and recent analyst actions.
The company introduced 17 customizable surface-mount flyback transformers under its Vishay Dale brand, targeting industrial, computing, and telecommunications power conversion applications. The IFBT series operates within an input voltage range of 26V to 72V at 250 kHz and offers high isolation of 1,500 VRMS. Designed for flyback converter topologies, the transformers support multiple winding configurations to accommodate varied voltage and current requirements.
Analyst coverage of Vishay Intertechnology has strengthened in recent weeks. Needham and Raymond James initiated coverage in early August, while Argus Research reaffirmed its buy rating shortly after the company’s second-quarter earnings conference call. The stock remains well below its 52-week high of $69.47, set in prior periods.
Broader market benchmarks advanced alongside the stock. The S&P 500 rose 0.7%, the Dow Jones gained 0.3%, and the Nasdaq climbed 1.4% during the same session. Vishay’s upward move aligns with its multi-year turnaround strategy, which emphasizes higher-margin segments such as AI power management and smart grid applications.
