Vertiv to Buy King Environmental Services for EMEA Expansion

Vertiv Holdings Co. (NYSE: VRT) agreed to acquire King Environmental Services Ltd., a move aimed at expanding the company's thermal-management and fluid-services operations across the Europe, Middle East and Africa region.

The transaction follows Vertiv's purchase of PurgeRite in December 2025, which established the company's fluid-management presence in North America. King Environmental Services, founded in 2002 and headquartered near Dublin, will now serve as Vertiv's EMEA counterpart, with customer-serving hubs in North Dublin and Frankfurt.

KES provides fluid management, commissioning and load-testing services tailored to liquid-cooled data centers. Its capabilities span fluid-system preparation, flushing, filtration and water treatment, alongside performance validation, system preparation, monitoring, maintenance and lifecycle optimization. The company also conducts thermal load testing for liquid-cooling infrastructure and electrical load testing for critical power systems.

Gio Albertazzi, chief executive of Vertiv, said the deal builds directly on the company's prior North American acquisition. "Our acquisition of PurgeRite, in December of 2025, established an important fluid management foundation in North America, and KES is expected to build on that foundation in EMEA," he said.

Vertiv, which designs power and thermal management products, infrastructure solutions and IT systems for critical digital applications, operates in more than 130 countries and is headquartered in Westerville, Ohio. The company announced the agreement from its Columbus, Ohio offices on September 24, 2026.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Vertiv said the deal is not expected to be material to its financial results.

The acquisition is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026, subject to customary closing conditions.
