Veea Inc. announced the completion of technical qualification for its VHC25 VeeaHub on Totalplay Telecomunicaciones’ fiber-optic infrastructure in Mexico, paving the way for commercial deployment of cybersecure edge services to business customers.
The qualification process validates the interoperability of Veea’s cloud-managed edge platform with Totalplay’s network, which spans approximately 19.5 million homes passed and serves 5.7 million subscribers as of June 30, 2026. The collaboration leverages Totalplay’s managed-services infrastructure and Veea’s VeeaONE platform, including Veea SecureConnect and VigiLynx solutions.
Under the partnership, Totalplay will offer Veea’s services to its enterprise, SME, and public-sector clients through its Internet Gestionado brand, marketed by Telcel. Commercial sales began in July, with Telcel initiating customer billing for Veea SecureConnect, generating early revenue for Veea’s subsidiary, VeeaSystems.
Allen Salmasi, Chairman and CEO of Veea, emphasized the strategic alignment, stating that connectivity serves as the foundation while cybersecurity provides the intelligence layer within customer premises. The agreement combines Totalplay’s network reach and managed-services capabilities with Veea’s patented edge computing technology, which is backed by over 123 patents in related domains.
Totalplay, a unit of América Móvil, provides fiber connectivity and managed services across Mexico’s business and residential segments.
