Swiss financial services group Valartis reported a net profit of between 3 million and 4 million Swiss francs for the first half of 2026, a decline from the 8.6 million francs recorded in the same period last year.
The Zug-based company attributed the drop to the absence of one-off positive effects that had boosted earnings in 2025. Excluding these non-recurring items, the underlying operating result improved compared with the prior-year period, Valartis stated. Administrative costs remained flat year-over-year, the company added.
Valartis plans to publish its detailed half-year financial report on August 25.
