Sweden’s OMX Stockholm 30 falls 0.30% to end lower
The OMX Stockholm 30 index declined 0.30% on Tuesday, weighed by broad sector losses despite a modest rebound in early trade.

Sweden’s benchmark OMX Stockholm 30 index closed 0.30% lower on Tuesday, reflecting a broad-based pullback across major sectors.
The index, which tracks the performance of the 30 most-traded stocks on the Nasdaq Stockholm exchange, ended the session at 2,450.12 points, down from an intraday high of 2,465.34. Declines were led by losses in industrials and financials, which offset marginal gains in technology and consumer staples.
Trading volumes were moderate, with 1.8 million shares changing hands, below the 30-day average of 2.1 million. Analysts attributed the pullback to profit-taking after a recent rally in Swedish equities, as well as cautious sentiment ahead of key macroeconomic data releases scheduled for later in the week.
The broader OMX Nordic 40 index also ended lower, down 0.25%, mirroring the weakness in the Swedish market. European peers showed mixed performance, with the Euro Stoxx 50 and FTSE 100 trading slightly higher on the day.
The Swedish krona remained relatively stable against the euro, with the EUR/SEK exchange rate holding near 11.25, reflecting limited impact from the equity market’s decline on currency valuations.
