Strategy (MSTR) completed a $602.8 million share sale between August 24 and August 30, allocating $369.7 million to acquire 4,603 bitcoin at an average price of $80,318 per coin.
The purchase brings Strategy’s total bitcoin holdings to 845,050 BTC, acquired at an aggregate cost of $63.73 billion and an overall average price of $75,412 per coin as of August 30, 2026.
The company used $151.8 million of the remaining proceeds to repurchase 1,557,177 shares of its Variable Rate Series A Perpetual Stretch Preferred Stock (STRC) under its Digital Credit Securities Repurchase Program. An additional $50.7 million funded STRC stock dividends, while $30.0 million was added to its USD cash liquidity account.
Strategy’s preferred stock ATM programs—STRF, STRC, STRK, and STRD—remained inactive during the period, leaving total remaining capacity of approximately $25.2 billion. The company’s MSTR stock issuance capacity stood at $19.09 billion, with a $5.10 billion USD Reserve balance designated for preferred stock dividend payments and debt interest obligations. Its USD Cash balance reached $1.61 billion, while $364.8 million remained available under the Digital Credit Securities Repurchase Program. A separate $1.0 billion MSTR stock repurchase program went unused during the period.
