Somnigroup International Inc. appointed Tyson Hagale as president of Leggett & Platt’s unit, effective immediately. Hagale will oversee all operations of the unit and be based at Leggett & Platt’s office in Carthage, Missouri.
The appointment follows Hagale’s 25-year tenure at Leggett & Platt, where he held roles in mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning, and operational leadership. For the past five years, he served as president of the company’s Bedding Products segment.
Hagale will report directly to Karl Glassman, Leggett & Platt’s chief executive officer. Scott Thompson, chairman and CEO of Somnigroup, noted the long-standing collaboration between the two companies, stating that the appointment reflects respect for Leggett & Platt’s management team.
Somnigroup operates as a bedding company with a presence in more than 100 countries.
