SoftwareOne’s shares advanced 9% in early trade on Wednesday after the IT services provider reported stronger-than-expected first-half results and margin expansion.
For the six months ended June 30, revenue grew 11.6% on a combined like-for-like basis at constant currency to CHF 818.3 million. Adjusted EBITDA margin expanded by 4.5 percentage points year-over-year to 24.9%, reflecting improved operational efficiency and cost discipline.
Second-quarter revenue rose 10.4% on a like-for-like basis, while adjusted EBITDA margin accelerated to 28.9%, up 5.4 percentage points from the prior year. The company also achieved CHF 100 million in run-rate cost synergies during the period, meeting the upper end of its previously announced target range. Additional synergies of CHF 5 million to CHF 10 million are expected in the second half of the year.
Leadership changes were finalized with the appointment of Raphael Erb as sole CEO effective August 1, following the integration of regional structures under three presidents starting September 1. Regina Manfredi oversees the Americas, Rico Andreoli leads EMEA, and Varun Paliwal heads APAC. Guðmundur Aðalsteinsson joins the Executive Board as Chief Channel & Ecosystems Officer, while Chief Operating Officer Oliver Berchtold is departing. The company stated integration is substantially complete, shifting focus to commercial execution and customer value creation.
SoftwareOne reiterated its full-year 2026 outlook, targeting mid- to high-single-digit revenue growth at constant currency, an adjusted EBITDA margin above 23%, and cash conversion above 60%.
