SentinelOne (NYSE:S) announced an expansion of its Wayfinder Frontier AI Services, incorporating OpenAI’s Daybreak models through the Daybreak Defense Network. The rollout introduces the GPT‑5.6‑Cyber model, which the company will use for code‑risk analysis, compromise assessment and malware analysis.
The new AI‑powered code risk analysis scans customer code repositories for security flaws, embedded code implants, exposed secrets and supply‑chain vulnerabilities. AI‑enabled compromise assessment evaluates telemetry against detection rules to highlight posture gaps, including risky use of VPNs, proxies and remote‑management tools. In malware analysis, SentinelLABS tested the GPT‑5.6‑Cyber model and reported strong performance in reverse‑engineering and capability, persistence and command‑and‑control assessments. Detected malicious samples trigger AI‑assisted workflows that automate disassembly and deobfuscation.
Wayfinder Frontier AI Services are already generally available. The expanded model lineup featuring OpenAI’s Daybreak models is being rolled out in a private preview, with broader availability planned for later in the year.
“Attackers are increasingly using AI to find and exploit weaknesses with greater speed and scale,” said Steve Stone, SentinelOne’s chief customer officer. “Our job is to help close that gap for customers by putting the most advanced models available in the hands of our elite experts to home in on the areas most likely to be attacked.”
