Rockwell Automation unveils TechConnectIQ remote support service for industrial clients

Rockwell Automation on Thursday announced the launch of TechConnectIQ Support, a remote service platform designed to provide round-the-clock technical assistance for industrial automation systems.

The service, unveiled on August 27, consolidates hardware and software support into three tiers—Basic, Standard and Professional—targeting single-site contract customers in North America. Expansion to additional regions is planned for 2027, the company said.

TechConnectIQ integrates web-based tools including real-time access to specialists, scheduled callbacks and live support, alongside AI-enabled capabilities such as federated search, augmented reality guidance and instructional videos. Customers can also access installed base information and support history through the myRockwellAutomation TechConnect hub.

Matt Fordenwalt, Senior Vice President of Lifecycle Services, said manufacturers face increasing pressure to maintain productivity with limited resources, adding that the new service leverages Rockwell’s expertise and AI tools to address support gaps.

Bill Prather, Lead Product Manager for Production Optimization, noted that TechConnectIQ builds on the company’s existing TechConnect service, which has been available for more than 20 years. Rockwell Automation employs approximately 26,000 people across more than 100 countries as of its fiscal year-end 2025.
