Cloud content management provider Box Inc reported second-quarter earnings that matched analyst expectations while revenue surpassed forecasts, according to data released after markets closed on Tuesday.
The company posted adjusted earnings per share of $0.40, matching the $0.40 consensus estimate compiled by Refinitiv. Total revenue for the quarter ended July 31 reached $321.1 million, exceeding the $319.33 million estimate and rising 8% year-over-year.
For the current quarter, Box guided revenue to $329 million, above the $324.5 million consensus, while projecting adjusted EPS of $0.39, in line with expectations. Full-year 2027 guidance was revised slightly downward, with revenue projected at $1.29 billion versus the $1.28 billion estimate and adjusted EPS at $1.54 compared with the $1.58 consensus.
Shares of Box closed at $33.00 on Tuesday, up 22.4% over the past three months and 5.9% over the prior 12 months. Analysts have issued seven positive EPS revisions over the last 90 days, with no negative adjustments during the period.
