Polar Power Inc., a California‑based designer and manufacturer of direct‑current (DC) power systems, confirmed that its DC generator has been integrated into MSI Defense Solutions’ Electronic Advanced Ground Launcher System (EAGLS). MSI Defense Solutions, a U.S. defense‑technology firm that builds tactical ground platforms, counter‑unmanned‑aircraft systems and maritime weapons, said the combined solution is intended for anti‑drone and anti‑missile missions.
The EAGLS platform incorporates radar, laser‑guided rockets and remote weapon stations to automatically detect, classify and intercept autonomous drones and other fast‑moving threats. The system is currently deployed in the Middle East, where it is being used to protect ground forces and critical assets.
Polar Power highlighted that its DC power system is engineered for reliability, low weight, compact size, fuel efficiency and low maintenance—attributes it deems essential for military applications. The company did not disclose any financial terms, order volumes or pricing related to the integration.
The announcement was released on August 31, 2026. No further details on future deployments or additional customers were provided.
