Adobe will provide 12 months of free access to its AI-powered design tools for over 27 million eligible Saudi citizens and residents under a partnership valued at more than $4 billion.
The agreement, announced originally in November, includes Adobe’s Firefly Standard subscription tier and Adobe Express Premium features, alongside a new image generation model developed jointly with Humain, a Saudi government-backed AI firm backed by the country’s sovereign wealth fund. The model is designed to align with Saudi cultural context and supports Arabic-language prompts for culturally relevant image creation.
The partnership aims to accelerate user adoption of Adobe’s AI products amid a competitive design software market while advancing Humain’s development of Arabic-language content generation tools for the Middle East. Free access is scheduled to begin rolling out by the end of 2026.
