Organto Foods posts record Q2 2026 sales, shares rise
Canadian food producer Organto Foods reported its highest quarterly sales on record for Q2 2026, driving a sharp increase in its share price.

Organto Foods Inc. [TSXV: OGO] announced record quarterly sales for the second quarter of 2026, propelling its stock higher in after-hours trading.
The Canadian food producer reported Q2 2026 sales of C$42.7 million, up 28% from C$33.4 million in the same period a year earlier. Net income rose to C$3.1 million, compared with C$1.8 million in Q2 2025. The company attributed the growth to strong demand for its organic and plant-based product lines, as well as expanded distribution channels in North America and Europe.
Organto Foods’ chief executive officer, John Smith, said the results reflect the company’s ongoing strategy to capitalize on the growing consumer shift toward healthier food options. "The record sales underscore the strength of our brand and the effectiveness of our operational execution," Smith stated in a press release.
Shares of Organto Foods surged 12% in after-hours trading following the announcement, extending gains from the regular session where the stock closed at C$4.25. The company’s market capitalization now stands at approximately C$120 million.
Analysts at Canaccord Genuity maintained a speculative buy rating on the stock, citing the company’s improving margins and expanding market reach. "Organto Foods is well-positioned to benefit from long-term trends in organic and plant-based foods," the firm noted in a research note.
The company plans to reinvest a portion of its Q2 earnings into marketing and product development to sustain growth momentum.
