Dutch membrane filtration company NX Filtration reported a near fivefold expansion in its order book year-over-year to H1 2026, alongside a 61% jump in order intake to a record level. The company also posted a 19% increase in first-half revenue to €7.8 million, up from €6.6 million in the same period of 2025, while total revenue over the last 12 months climbed 31% to €15.4 million.
Gross margin remained stable at 59%, compared with 60.1% in H1 2025, while the normalized EBITDA loss narrowed to €6.7 million from €7.2 million a year earlier. Operating expenses held flat at €11.7 million, and capital expenditure fell 71% to €1.2 million. Cash and equivalents totaled €18.4 million at the end of the period, down from €38.3 million a year ago, with the current ratio standing at 7.29.
Shares of NX Filtration slipped 1.67% to $3.53 following the release, extending a decline from the prior close of $3.59. The stock has traded between $1.89 and $4.30 over the past 52 weeks.
Geographically, Asia accounted for 55% of H1 2026 revenue from goods sales, followed by Europe at 27%, the rest of the world at 12%, and North America at 5%. The company’s largest-ever order was secured in Östersund, Sweden, for a municipal drinking water treatment plant serving 55,000 residents. Once operational, it will become the world’s largest hollow fiber nanofiltration drinking water facility.
NX Filtration’s global project portfolio includes more than 90 operational hollow fiber nanofiltration installations, with the total OEM count reaching 193 by the end of H1 2026, up 13 from year-end 2025. The installed base expanded to 44 OEMs, and new product sales included 80m² ultrafiltration membrane modules to Turkish OEM Esli and a microfiltration project with Heineken.
Chief Executive Officer Floris Jan Kuijper highlighted the company’s execution path to growth and break-even, citing the 19% revenue increase and a record order intake 61% higher than H1 2025. Chief Financial Officer Jan Feije Zwiers noted proactive cost alignment with growth realization, adding that the company is positioned to fund its expansion ambitions.
In environmental metrics, NX Filtration reported a 311-ton CO2-equivalent internal footprint, while customer savings enabled by its membrane modules totaled 4,187 tons of CO2e—more than 13 times the company’s own emissions. The installed base is projected to deliver 371 billion liters of clean water capacity, avoiding 7.8 million kilograms of chemicals and saving 94.9 gigawatt-hours of energy over its lifetime.
