Nomad Foods Ltd (NOMD) shares gained 5.1% on Monday following a Form 4 filing indicating that Chief Financial Officer Ruben Baldew purchased 28,290 ordinary shares at $11.8498 per share on August 19.
The transaction increased Baldew’s direct stake in the frozen food company to 367,172 shares. The filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission also disclosed Baldew’s broader equity compensation, including 184,991 restricted share units scheduled to vest on June 17, 2027.
Nomad Foods also reported that Baldew holds 1.85 million stock options with an exercise price of $10.14, subject to performance and share-purchase requirements through May 7, 2031. Additionally, he has 208,848 performance-based share units divided into three tranches, vesting in February 2027, 2028, and 2029, contingent on three-year performance periods.
The shares rose to $12.45 in early trading on Monday, up from Friday’s close of $11.82.
