NeoVolta Inc. (NASDAQ: NEOV) announced a $53 million binding capacity reservation agreement with Infinite Grid Capital to supply battery energy storage system equipment for artificial intelligence data center projects in Northern Ontario, Canada.
The deal, entered into through NeoVolta Power, the company’s majority-owned subsidiary, provides initial demand commitment from Infinite Grid Capital. The energy infrastructure platform develops and finances large-scale power projects, including battery storage systems and dedicated power solutions for data centers across North America. Infinite Grid Capital also serves as an existing strategic investor in NeoVolta and provides offtake origination and advisory services for NeoVolta Power’s manufacturing operations.
Under a broader framework agreement with Infinite Grid Capital, NeoVolta envisions approximately 1.1 gigawatt-hours of potential battery energy storage deployments, with total supply value reaching roughly $200 million across multiple markets.
The Northern Ontario Edge AI data center project is targeted to receive its battery energy storage system equipment in calendar year 2027, according to the company.
The announcement coincided with a grand-opening ceremony at NeoVolta’s Pendergrass, Georgia, manufacturing facility. Ardes Johnson, chief executive officer, called the deal an important commercial milestone and a validation of the company’s platform at the site.
The Pendergrass facility spans 210,600 square feet and is designed to assemble commercial, industrial, and utility-scale energy storage products. Its initial production line is advancing through commissioning and Site Acceptance Testing, with a production ramp scheduled for the fourth quarter of calendar year 2026.
San Diego-based NeoVolta has positioned itself to serve the growing power demands of AI data centers through its battery energy storage offerings.
