Lisata Therapeutics (NASDAQ: LSTA) announced it will present data from the Phase 2b TYDAL study of its lead drug candidate MAR001 at the American Heart Association’s Scientific Sessions 2026.
The presentation is scheduled for Monday, Nov. 9, at 8:00 a.m. CT in Chicago and will be part of the conference’s late-breaking science sessions focused on cardiometabolic risk reduction.
MAR001 is a monoclonal antibody that targets angiopoietin-like protein 4 (ANGPTL4), designed to lower triglyceride levels by inhibiting the protein and augmenting lipoprotein lipase activity. The candidate has completed Phase 1 and Phase 2a development and is currently in Phase 2b clinical trials.
The full study, formally titled “TYDAL-TIMI 78: A Randomized Trial of ANGPTL4 Inhibition With MAR001 in Adults With Elevated Triglycerides and Remnant Cholesterol Concentrations,” represents a key data readout for Lisata’s cardiovascular pipeline. Lisata acquired Marea Therapeutics, which originally developed the MAR001 program, and the candidate now serves as the company’s lead product.
Lisata also highlighted its broader pipeline, including MAR005, a half-life-extended version of MAR001 being developed as a Phase 3 candidate for severe hypertriglyceridemia. The company noted that MAR005 is intended to address patients with very high triglyceride levels.
Additionally, Marea is advancing MAR002, a separate product candidate targeted at the treatment of acromegaly.
