Norwegian seafood group Leroy Seafood reported a 26% year-over-year decline in second-quarter operational EBIT to NOK 574 million, citing reduced harvest volumes and weaker margins in its Farming division.
Despite the earnings drop, the company raised its full-year operational EBIT guidance for the Wild Catch segment to NOK 400-450 million from the prior range of NOK 350-400 million. The upward revision reflects expectations of higher catch volumes and sustained strong pricing in the segment.
Leroy Seafood maintained its 2026 Norway harvest volume guidance at 195,000 GWT and left its overall 2026 harvest volume target unchanged. Operational improvements were highlighted, including strong biological performance, improved cash flow, and declining costs in Farming operations.
The company also noted progress on a cost optimization program and anticipates a slowdown in global salmon and trout supply growth during the second half of 2026, coinciding with rising demand expectations.
