Swedish investment and industrial group Latour reported a 3% year-over-year increase in Q2 industrial sales, totaling SEK 7.23 billion, as market conditions showed signs of recovery across most of its businesses.
Order intake for the quarter climbed 11% to SEK 7.81 billion, or 13% on a constant currency basis, reflecting solid demand amid mixed construction trends. The industrial EBIT margin stood at 13.8%, while net asset value per share declined 3.7% in the first half of the year, underperforming the company’s benchmark index.
Latour completed five acquisitions in Q2, contributing SEK 700 million in net annualized acquired growth, following earlier deals in the first quarter. The group noted a gradual market recovery with resilient demand in refurbishment and industrial infrastructure projects, though residential construction remained subdued in parts of Europe.
Geopolitical risks in the Middle East were expected to have minimal financial impact, according to the company. Latour highlighted its strong order book as a foundation for continued net sales growth in the coming quarters.
