Swedish video game publisher Jumpgate AB (GATE) reported a 37% year-over-year rise in revenue for Q2 2026, fueled by strong performance of its Star Trek franchise title, Star Trek: Voyager – Across the Unknown. The company posted net turnover of nearly SEK 18 million, up from the prior quarter, while its net loss narrowed to SEK 3.3 million.
EBIT remained broadly stable year-over-year but fell slightly short of Q1 2026 levels due to a one-time minimum guarantee payment to the Star Trek IP holder. Gross profit margin stood at 56.61%, while the company’s trailing twelve-month revenue reached $4.17 million as of Q1 2026.
Cash flow improved significantly compared to the prior year, and Jumpgate fully repaid its largest interest-bearing debt obligation. Remaining liabilities consist primarily of convertible loans from investors. The company’s stock closed at $1.90, up 0.8% for the session and near the bottom of its 52-week range of $1.15 to $3.76, with a market capitalization of $2.95 million.
Executives highlighted the commercial success of the Star Trek title, with CEO Harald stating the game had delivered high-quality results with strong reviews and sales. COO and CFO Florian noted that Jumpgate had begun receiving royalty payments from the first unit of revenue, and that its share of future royalties would more than double once the publisher recouped its initial investment.
Looking ahead, Jumpgate secured nearly EUR 12 million in German public funding for a new gameXcite project. The company also plans to release a Tivola mobile game developed with Trophy Games in 2027 and expects a full pipeline of paid and free DLC content for Star Trek: Voyager – Across the Unknown.
